CONFERENCE VENUE

The AIIDE-13 workshops and technical program will be held at Northeastern University in the Curry Student Center.

Registration will be held in the mezzanine outside of the Curry Student Center Ballroom October 14-18.  For a map of campus, please see http://www.northeastern.edu/neuhome/aboutnortheastern/maps.html (and search for Curry Student Center). Maps will also be available onsite to attendees.

PARKING

Parking will be available at the Renaissance Parking Garage (835 Columbus Avenue, Boston, MA). The walk from the lot is approximately 2-3 minutes to Curry Student Center.  A parking lot map can be found at: http://www.northeastern.edu/parking/images/NU_ParkingLotMap.pdf

METRO

Northeastern is accessible by subway via the Green Line of the MBTA. From downtown Boston, take an "E" train outbound to the Northeastern stop, the first stop above ground.

The campus can also be reached from downtown via the Orange Line by taking any train going outbound to Forest Hills and getting off at Ruggles Station. Commuter rail lines connect with the Orange Line at Ruggles Station, Back Bay Station, and North Station.

ACCOMMODATIONS

AIIDE-13 has reserved a small block of rooms at each of the hotels listed below. Conference attendees must contact the hotels directly. Please identify yourself as a "AIIDE-13" attendee to qualify for the reduced rates (see below for specific hotel instructions for ensuring group rate). Space is very limited in Boston in October, so attendees are encouraged to reserve early.

Midtown Hotel (within 1/2 mile of campus)

  2. Standard King consisting of one King size bed: $170 per night plus tax
  3. Two Bedroom Unit consisting of two separate bedrooms with a Queen size bed in each bedroom: $205/night plus tax.   Sold out on October 13 and 18
  4. Two Bedroom Unit with three beds available at a discounted rate of $215/night plus tax.
  5. Double Queen Suite consisting of two Queen size beds and a separate living room : $215/night plus tax
  6. Junior Suite consisting of one King size bed and a separate living area: $195/night plus tax
  7. Premium Suites consisting of two separate bedrooms with a Queen size bed in each bedroom and a separate living area available at the discounted rate of $245/night plus tax.
